Indian Head Massage
Indian Head Massage is a technique of manipulating soft tissues in the shoulders and scalp. The therapist uses a range of different massage pressures and rhythms to stimulate the head and neck area. A typical massage lasts about 20/30 minutes. A combination of deep massage techniques and using pressure on release points helps to relax and loosen muscles from the back into the shoulders and upper arms. This helps to alleviate tension held in the upper back/neck. It can relieve headaches, and improves the circulation of the cerebral spinal fluid. Indian Head Massage also includes a gentle face massage to aid circulation, improves skin tone, reduces sinus and headache problems, and can improve memory.

What to expect
All treatments begin with a formal consultation process involving a series of questions about your health and lifestyle. This process is essential to enable both myself and you to identify existing health-related issues, giving us the opportunity to explore overall lifestyle and consider life changes that may help you in your recovery.
All treatments are completed fully clothed or you can wrap your upper body in a towel to expose just your shoulders. Treatment can include oils, if desired.
The techniques are not dissimilar to those performed in holistic massage in general, and as per other forms of alternative therapy, fall into five classical groups:
